What you put into the world comes back to you, especially when its positive energy.

I was debating today with myself whether or not to tell this woman that I thought she was wearing great boots. This was after I passed up the first opportunity to tell her. So as I waited for my light (I was out walking) She peddled her bike up to the corner and I bit the bullet. I really wasn’t flirting, just acknowledging a great style and character that I saw in the boots which seemed to match the person. The smile on her face was like it was the first nice thing anyone had said to her all day (it was 5pm btw). She said thank you and off she road.

I skipped back to my car feeling good that I had made someone’s day.

After a weird evening I went to see Shrek 2 in the budget theatre (cute, not great, but Puss -n- Boots is awesome!) Anyway. The movie had the desired effect and as I got into my car this guy, obviously on the way to the next showing stops to say that my car was really pretty. It has been eons since anyone made a comment about my car. It is pretty - 1994 red BMW 325i. Not that I bought it as a status symbol or to show it off, but it is nice when someone comments on it. I mean its a 10 year old car, but it still looks good and is really fun to drive. And yes it is pretty. Made my day.
